Beta Terms of Use
These terms apply to the beta test of Prospect Transcript, run by Prospect Transcript, LLC ("we"). By creating an account you agree to them. If you are under 18, your parent or guardian must agree to them for you.
The beta
Prospect Transcript is in testing and is free during the beta. Features may change, break or be removed, and we may reset test data with notice. Paid plans, if any, will have their own terms, and nobody will be charged without agreeing to them first.
Your account
- Use your own email address and accurate information about who you are. Coach and college accounts must belong to people who hold those jobs.
- Keep access to your email secure, because it is how you sign in.
- Parents and guardians are responsible for accounts they manage for athletes under 18.
Accuracy and verification
- Families are responsible for entering truthful statistics, measurements and academic information.
- By verifying or disputing an entry, a coach, teacher or director confirms that it matches, or does not match, their own records or observation. By writing a reference, a coach confirms it is their honest opinion.
- We may remove entries, references or verifications we believe are false, and remove verification rights from any account that signs false information.
Film and content
You may post only film, recordings and images you have the right to share, and portfolio work must be your own. You keep ownership of what you post and give us permission to store and display it within the service. To report content that infringes your rights or should not be shared, email contact@prospecttranscript.com.
Acceptable use
Do not harass anyone, impersonate a coach or school, collect other users' information outside the service, try to get around the site's access rules, or use the service for anything unrelated to recruiting or college admissions.
Recruiting rules and outcomes
Prospect Transcript is a tool for organizing and sharing a student's record. We do not guarantee admission, scholarships, roster spots, offers or contact from any program. Athletes, families and coaches are responsible for following NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA, state association and school rules.
Ending use
You can stop using the service and delete your records at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Disclaimers and limits
The beta is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Prospect Transcript, LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and its total liability for any claim related to the beta is limited to $100.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Florida law.
